Epsom Salts are not exactly salts but naturally occurring pure mineral compounds of magnesium and sulfate. Magnesium is one of the super minerals our bodies require for skeletal strength, normalised muscle function, energy production and the ability to detox. Unfortunately many of us are deficient in magnesium with the culprits being modern diet and pressured lifestyles...stress alone can zap our magnesium levels. A great way to top up your magnesium levels is transdermal absorption. Add Epsom Salts to a body bath or foot soak and let the magnesium absorb through the skin. Soak: Soothe: Absorb.

Often recommended by physiotherapists and specialists, this soothing action may help with troublesome muscle aches and pains. Why bathe in Magnesium?
Warning: Do not take internally. Keep in a cool dry place. If you have epilepsy, high blood pressure or any other specific medical condition, pregnant or breast- feeding consult a doctor before use.
Do not use on broken skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Not suitable for use on babies or infants.
Bath Soak: Add 2 cups (250g) of Epsom Salts to?warm running bath water. Immerse yourself and relax for 20 minutes or longer.
If you fancy, add in a few drops of your favourite essential oils to create your own unique bathing experience. We love lavender for relaxation and calm, rose oil which is gently uplifting and eucalyptus for when we are feeling a little run down. Be sure to take heed in the safety data for the oils you choose.
We would advise 2-3 magnesium rich salt baths are enjoyed per week.
Foot Soak: Sore Feet? Why not try an Epsom Salts?foot soak. Release the tension in your toes by dissolving 150g of Epsom Salts in warm water and immerse your feet for at least 20 minutes.
Exfoliation: Mix 2 cups (250g) of Epsom Salts with 1/4 cup of petroleum jelly and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Use the mixture to gently scrub away dry skin patches.
